1. Overview and Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Tile Wars®, the Tile Wars mobile game, related online services, player support communications, websites operated for the game, event systems, leaderboards, private rooms, social features, advertising integrations, analytics integrations, subscriptions, and any other services that link to or reference this Privacy Policy.

Tile Wars is operated as a live-service game. This means that some information is processed continuously to maintain gameplay progress, operate matchmaking, administer Battle Week events, deliver rewards, detect abuse, support private rooms, maintain leaderboards, process subscriptions, deliver advertisements, and improve technical performance.

This Policy describes our privacy practices in plain language. It does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law. Where local law grants you additional rights, we will apply those rights to the extent required by law.

2. Data Controller and Contact Details

For the purposes of applicable data protection laws, including the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), the data controller for Tile Wars is Ömer Toygar Ateş, operating under the Ateş Studios® brand.

You may contact us regarding privacy questions, data deletion requests, account deletion requests, GDPR requests, KVKK requests, or related matters at legal@tilewarsgame.com. Please include sufficient information for us to identify the relevant account, such as your Friend Code, in-game nickname, approximate creation date, device platform, and any supporting screenshots if available.

Because Tile Wars currently uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication, we may not be able to identify or recover an account unless the user provides technical identifiers or other details sufficient to verify the relevant account.

3. Summary of Our Privacy Practices

We collect and process information primarily to operate Tile Wars, maintain account functionality, preserve gameplay progress, provide social features, operate Battle Week, deliver in-game rewards, manage subscriptions, show advertisements, analyze performance, diagnose crashes, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Tile Wars is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it, subject to technical feasibility and legal requirements.

We use third party service providers, including Firebase, Google Analytics, Google AdMob, Unity Ads, AppLovin, and IronSource. These providers may process technical, analytics, advertising, crash, performance, device, and interaction data according to their own terms and privacy notices.

4. Categories of Information We Collect

The categories below describe the main types of information that may be collected or processed by Tile Wars. The exact data depends on your device, platform, settings, region, consent choices, advertising settings, gameplay activity, subscriptions, and the features you use.

We do not require users to provide a real name, email address, phone number or postal address in order to play through the anonymous account system. However, support communications or legal requests may involve additional information if the user voluntarily provides it.

5. Anonymous Account Data and Firebase Authentication

Tile Wars currently uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication as its primary account access system. This allows users to begin playing without creating a traditional registered account. Anonymous authentication creates technical identifiers that enable the game to associate progress, rewards, purchases, rankings, Friend Codes and other gameplay data with the user’s game installation or account instance.

Anonymous accounts are different from email-based accounts. They may not provide the same recovery options. If a user deletes the app, clears local storage, changes devices, performs a factory reset, reinstalls the operating system, loses authentication credentials, or migrates devices incorrectly, account recovery may be limited or impossible.

We process anonymous account identifiers to maintain account continuity, prevent fraud, operate subscriptions, verify rewards, administer Battle Week, resolve support requests, detect suspicious activity, and protect the integrity of the game. If additional authentication methods are introduced in the future, this Policy may be updated to explain the related data processing.

6. Gameplay, Battle Week and Leaderboard Data

Tile Wars processes gameplay data to operate the core game. This may include match participation, match outcomes, tile control activity, use of powerups, progression, rankings, rewards, coin and gem balances, badge achievements, Battle Week points, leaderboard placements, private room activity and similar game events.

Battle Week is a competitive in-game event. To operate Battle Week fairly, we may process event participation, scoring, rankings, reward eligibility, suspicious activity indicators, connection data, device signals, historical gameplay patterns, reward claims and internal review decisions.

Leaderboard data may be visible to other users, including friend-based leaderboard views. Your nickname, avatar, profile photo, Friend Code or ranking information may be visible depending on the feature used. We may correct leaderboard data, reverse rewards, remove suspicious activity, or retain event records when necessary to protect fair play.

7. Social Features: Friend Codes, Profiles, Private Rooms and Emoji Messaging

Tile Wars includes social features such as Friend Codes, friend leaderboards, user profiles, avatars, profile photos, private rooms and emoji-based in-game communication. These features are intended to allow users to find friends, compare rankings, invite players to private sessions and interact using limited in-game communication tools.

Friend Codes are used only for friend discovery, friend-based leaderboard visibility and related social gameplay functions. Friend Codes are not intended for payments, rewards, referrals or real-world value unless expressly introduced in the future under separate rules.

Nicknames, avatars, profile photos and similar profile content may be visible to other users. Users should not upload or choose content that contains personal information, offensive material, infringing content, impersonation, or content that violates the Terms of Service. We may remove or restrict profile content if it violates our rules or legal obligations.

8. Purchases, Subscriptions and Store Transactions

Tile Wars may offer Coins, Gems, Powerup Packs, Starter Packs, Pro Packs, Mega Packs, Gold Pass, Elite Pass, VIP Pass, premium content, ad-free options and other digital products. Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, not directly by Ateş Studios.

We may receive transaction-related metadata from platform stores or from our backend systems, such as product identifier, purchase status, subscription status, entitlement status, renewal status, refund status, cancellation status, transaction timestamp and store verification data. We use this information to deliver purchased items, verify entitlements, prevent fraud, respond to support requests and comply with platform requirements.

VIP Pass is expected to be a monthly recurring subscription managed through Apple App Store or Google Play. Users may cancel through the relevant platform account settings. We do not receive full payment card details from Apple or Google. Refund decisions are generally handled according to the applicable store policies.

9. Advertising Networks and Rewarded Advertisements

Tile Wars may display rewarded advertisements, interstitial advertisements, banner advertisements and promotional content. Advertising partners may include Google AdMob, Unity Ads, AppLovin and IronSource. Advertising partners may process advertising identifiers, device identifiers, device information, approximate location, ad interactions, impression data, frequency data, campaign data and fraud prevention signals.

Rewarded advertisements may require verification that an advertisement was properly displayed or completed. Reward delivery can depend on third party ad network signals, device connectivity, app state, regional availability and anti-fraud checks. If an advertisement fails to load, is interrupted, is not verified by the ad provider, or appears unavailable, the associated reward may not be delivered.

Depending on your region and consent choices, advertising may be personalized, contextual, limited or non-personalized. You may be able to adjust advertising preferences through your device settings, platform settings or consent prompts where available.

10. Analytics, Crash Reporting and Performance Monitoring

Tile Wars may use Firebase Analytics and Google Analytics to understand how users interact with the game, which features are used, how events perform, where users encounter difficulty and how the game can be improved. Analytics data helps us improve onboarding, game balance, user retention, monetization flows, Battle Week systems and technical performance.

Firebase Crashlytics may collect crash logs, stack traces, device model, operating system version, app version, error details, diagnostic identifiers and related technical information. This information is used to identify and fix bugs, improve stability and prioritize technical improvements.

Firebase Performance Monitoring and similar tools may collect network timing, app startup time, screen performance, latency indicators, loading times and system health metrics. These measurements are used to improve responsiveness and reliability.

11. Push Notifications and Firebase Cloud Messaging

Tile Wars may use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send push notifications. Notifications may include Battle Week reminders, reward notifications, private room invitations, friend-related notifications, system updates, subscription messages, promotional information, maintenance notices and security alerts.

Users can usually disable push notifications through device settings or operating system controls. If push notifications are disabled, some reminders or real-time messages may not be delivered. Certain critical service or security notices may still be shown in-app where necessary.

Push notification tokens and related delivery data may be processed to deliver messages, measure delivery success, troubleshoot notification problems and prevent abuse.

12. How and Why We Use Information

We use information to provide and operate Tile Wars, maintain accounts, preserve progress, deliver virtual items, operate friend features, manage private rooms, administer Battle Week, process purchases, verify subscriptions, deliver advertisements, respond to support requests, detect cheating, investigate abuse, improve performance and comply with legal obligations.

We may also use information to protect users, protect the Company, enforce the Terms of Service, investigate suspicious activity, prevent fraud, detect reward farming, review chargebacks, correct technical errors, manage legal requests, and maintain the security and integrity of our systems.

We do not use user information for purposes materially incompatible with this Policy without providing additional notice or obtaining consent where required by applicable law.

Where GDPR, UK GDPR or similar legal frameworks apply, we rely on different legal bases depending on the purpose of processing. The applicable basis may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, compliance with legal obligations, or protection of vital interests where relevant.

Performance of a contract applies where processing is necessary to provide the game, maintain accounts, deliver virtual items, operate subscriptions, process entitlements and provide requested features. Legitimate interests may apply for security, fraud prevention, analytics, service improvement, abuse detection, leaderboard integrity and legal defense.

Consent may apply to personalized advertising, push notifications or optional processing depending on applicable law, platform requirements and regional settings. Users may withdraw consent where applicable, though withdrawal may affect certain features.

14. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We may share information with service providers, cloud hosting providers, analytics providers, crash reporting providers, advertising partners, platform stores, payment processors, professional advisors, law enforcement, regulators or other parties where reasonably necessary to operate Tile Wars or comply with legal obligations.

Third party providers may process information on our behalf or independently according to their own privacy notices. Examples include Firebase, Google Analytics, Google AdMob, Unity Ads, AppLovin, IronSource, Apple App Store and Google Play.

We may disclose information when required by law, court order, governmental request, regulatory process, platform investigation, fraud investigation, security incident response, legal defense or to protect the rights, safety and property of users, Ateş Studios or others.

15. International Data Transfers

Tile Wars is operated using global digital infrastructure. Information may be processed, stored, transferred or accessed in countries other than the user’s country of residence, including countries where Firebase, Google, advertising networks, analytics providers, platform stores or cloud providers operate.

Where required by applicable law, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual commitments, data processing terms, standard contractual clauses, platform terms or other legally recognized mechanisms. The level of protection may vary by jurisdiction.

By using Tile Wars, users understand that their information may be processed through international service providers necessary for the operation of the game.

16. Data Retention and Deletion Periods

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Tile Wars, maintain accounts, deliver purchases and subscriptions, operate Battle Week, maintain leaderboards, resolve disputes, enforce the Terms of Service, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations and protect the integrity of the game.

When a user requests account deletion or data deletion, we will process the request after reasonable verification. Certain records may remain for up to 90 days in backups, logs, security records or systems where immediate deletion is technically impractical. Some information may be retained longer where necessary for fraud prevention, chargeback handling, tax obligations, legal compliance, dispute resolution or enforcement of the Terms of Service.

Leaderboard records, event records, security logs or anti-cheat records may be retained where necessary to protect the integrity of Battle Week, investigate abuse, prevent repeat violations or comply with legal obligations.

17. Account Deletion, Data Deletion and Verification

Users may request account deletion, data deletion, GDPR requests or KVKK requests by emailing legal@tilewarsgame.com. Because Tile Wars uses anonymous authentication, the user may need to provide information sufficient to identify the account, such as Friend Code, nickname, device platform, approximate account creation date, screenshots of the profile page, purchase references or other identifiers.

We may refuse or delay a deletion request if we cannot verify that the requester controls the relevant account, if deletion would interfere with legal obligations, if data is needed for fraud prevention, if a payment dispute is pending, or if retention is permitted or required by applicable law.

Deleting an account may permanently remove game progress, rankings, Coins, Gems, Powerups, Badges, Battle Week history, friend connections, profile information, private room history and other account-related data. Deleting the app from a device does not necessarily delete server-side records.

18. Your Privacy Rights under GDPR, UK GDPR and Similar Laws

Where applicable, users may have rights to request access to personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of data, restriction of processing, objection to processing, portability of data, withdrawal of consent and complaint to a supervisory authority.

These rights are subject to verification, legal limitations, technical feasibility and exceptions. For example, we may retain information necessary to comply with law, detect fraud, prevent cheating, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, complete transactions or protect the security of the game.

Requests should be sent to legal@tilewarsgame.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, subject to identity verification and the complexity of the request.

19. Your Rights under Turkish KVKK

Users located in Türkiye may exercise rights under Article 11 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698. These rights may include learning whether personal data is processed, requesting information if processed, learning the purpose of processing, learning third parties to whom data is transferred, requesting correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, requesting deletion or destruction under applicable conditions, requesting notification of correction or deletion to third parties, objecting to results against the person arising from automated processing, and requesting compensation for damages caused by unlawful processing.

KVKK requests may be sent to legal@tilewarsgame.com. We may request information necessary to verify the requester and locate the relevant account. Responses will be provided according to applicable legal timeframes and requirements.

If a request concerns an anonymous account, the user should include the Friend Code, nickname, device platform, screenshots and any relevant identifiers to help us locate the account.

20. Children’s Privacy and Age Restrictions

Tile Wars is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. The game includes competitive gameplay themes and virtual combat mechanics, but it does not provide real-money gambling or cash prizes.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a parent, guardian or other person believes that a child under 13 has provided information through Tile Wars, they should contact legal@tilewarsgame.com. If we confirm that such information was collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it, subject to technical feasibility and legal requirements.

Users between 13 and the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction should use the game only with appropriate parental or guardian permission where required by local law.

21. Security Measures

We implement reasonable technical, administrative and organizational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, destruction, loss or misuse. These safeguards may include Firebase security features, access controls, authentication controls, logging, monitoring, internal access limitations, vendor controls and security review processes.

No digital system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Unauthorized access, cyberattacks, device compromise, user negligence, third party failures, platform incidents, network outages or force majeure events may affect the confidentiality or availability of information. Users should keep their devices secure and avoid sharing screenshots or identifiers that may expose account details.

If we become aware of a security incident requiring notification under applicable law, we will take steps required by law and reasonably appropriate under the circumstances.

22. Platform Privacy Disclosures

Apple App Store and Google Play may require privacy disclosures regarding data collection, data sharing, tracking, app privacy details, data safety information, account deletion methods and advertising practices. Tile Wars aims to maintain disclosures consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable platform requirements.

Users should understand that platform store disclosures may categorize data differently from this Policy. For example, a platform may require disclosure of data categories such as identifiers, user content, usage data, diagnostics, purchases, advertising data or approximate location according to platform-specific definitions.

If there is a difference between a platform interface summary and this Policy, this Policy is intended to provide the more detailed explanation of our privacy practices, subject to applicable law and platform rules.

Tile Wars may contain links, integrations, advertisements or references to third party services. This Privacy Policy does not govern third party websites, app stores, advertising networks, analytics providers, payment processors or external services that are not controlled by Ateş Studios.

Users should review the privacy notices and terms of third party providers before interacting with them. Ateş Studios is not responsible for the privacy practices, content, security, availability or policies of third party services, except to the extent required by applicable law.

Third party advertising content may be selected, delivered and measured by advertising partners. Interactions with advertisements may be subject to the relevant advertising provider’s privacy practices.

24. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the game, services, technologies, legal requirements, platform requirements, advertising practices, analytics tools, subscription systems or business operations.

When we make material changes, we may provide notice through the game, website, store listing or other appropriate method. Continued use of Tile Wars after the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy means that the updated Policy applies to subsequent use of the services.

Users are encouraged to review this Policy periodically. The effective date at the top indicates the date on which this version became effective.

25. Contact and Complaints

For privacy questions, account deletion requests, data deletion requests, GDPR requests, KVKK requests, complaints or other privacy-related matters, contact legal@tilewarsgame.com.

Please include sufficient information to allow us to identify the relevant account and process the request. Because Tile Wars uses anonymous authentication, requests without Friend Code, nickname, device platform or other account identifiers may be difficult or impossible to process.

Users may also have the right to contact a data protection authority or supervisory authority in their jurisdiction. We encourage users to contact us first so that we can attempt to address the issue.

Tile Wars may use multiple advertising networks and mediation partners. Advertising technologies may involve device identifiers, advertising identifiers, impression records, clicks, reward completion signals, campaign measurement data, fraud prevention data and approximate location information inferred from device or network signals.

Depending on the user’s jurisdiction, platform, device settings and consent choices, advertisements may be personalized, contextual, limited or non-personalized. If a consent management prompt is displayed, the user’s selection may affect whether certain advertising partners process data for personalized advertising or measurement.

Users may also be able to limit ad tracking, reset advertising identifiers, manage tracking permissions, disable personalized advertising or control app-level tracking settings through iOS, Android, Apple App Store, Google Play, Google settings or device-level controls. These controls are provided by platform operators and may change over time.

Rewarded advertisements are optional. However, if a user chooses to watch a rewarded advertisement, reward delivery may require verification from the relevant advertising provider. Rewards may not be delivered if the advertisement is interrupted, not completed, unavailable, blocked, technically failed, not verified or rejected by anti-fraud systems.

Ateş Studios does not control every data processing activity performed independently by third-party advertising networks. Users should review the privacy notices of advertising partners for additional information about their independent processing, opt-out methods and data retention practices.

Appendix F - Account Deletion Workflow and Expected Outcomes

Tile Wars currently relies on anonymous account identifiers. For that reason, deletion requests require enough information for Ateş Studios to locate the correct account. A request that includes only a name or email address may be insufficient because the game may not have collected that information through anonymous authentication.

After receiving a deletion request, Ateş Studios may review the request, request additional verification, locate the relevant account, assess whether any legal or security retention reason applies, process deletion or anonymization where appropriate, and confirm completion or explain why additional information is needed.

Deletion may affect access to all game progress and may permanently remove Coins, Gems, Powerups, Badges, Battle Week standings, Friend Code connections, private room history, profile data, subscription-linked entitlements and other account-related data. Deleted data may not be recoverable.

Certain data may be retained temporarily or permanently where necessary for legal obligations, tax records, purchase and refund records, chargeback defense, fraud prevention, security investigations, anti-cheat enforcement, dispute resolution, backup integrity or compliance with platform requirements.

Backup systems, logs and security records may retain data for up to 90 days after account deletion unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. During this period, data is generally isolated from ordinary gameplay use and retained for backup, security or legal purposes.

Appendix G - Regional Privacy Notes

For users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom or jurisdictions with similar privacy laws, additional rights may apply under GDPR, UK GDPR or equivalent laws. These rights may include access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent.

For users in Türkiye, rights under KVKK may apply. Requests may be submitted to legal@tilewarsgame.com. Ateş Studios may request additional identifying information where necessary to locate an anonymous game account and verify the requester.

For users in jurisdictions with specific consumer privacy laws, such as certain U.S. states, additional rights may apply depending on applicability thresholds and the nature of data processing. Ateş Studios will evaluate such requests according to applicable law.

Ateş Studios does not intentionally collect sensitive personal data such as precise health data, biometric identifiers, government identification numbers, financial account numbers, religious beliefs or political opinions through ordinary gameplay. Users should not upload such information in profile photos, nicknames, support requests or other game-related communications.

If a region requires additional consent for personalized advertising, push notifications, analytics or similar processing, Tile Wars may request consent through platform prompts, device controls, in-app notices or consent management tools where implemented.

Appendix H - Data Safety and App Store Privacy Disclosure Support

This appendix is intended to help align the Privacy Policy with typical app store privacy disclosure workflows. It is not a substitute for completing Apple App Privacy details or Google Play Data Safety forms accurately in the developer consoles.

Depending on the final implementation, Tile Wars may need to disclose collection or sharing of identifiers, purchases, user content, usage data, diagnostics, advertising data, approximate location, product interaction data and crash data. The exact disclosure depends on SDK configuration, consent settings, data flows and platform definitions.

Apple and Google may categorize data differently from legal privacy documents. For example, a platform may treat an advertising identifier, device ID, Friend Code, profile photo, purchase record or crash log as a specific data category. The developer should review SDK behavior and store console requirements before submission.

If Tile Wars changes SDKs, adds new analytics tools, introduces account registration, enables chat, introduces clans, adds referral rewards, launches a marketplace, adds new ad mediation partners or changes data retention practices, both this Privacy Policy and store privacy disclosures should be reviewed and updated.

Ateş Studios should keep internal records of SDKs, purposes, data categories, sharing status, retention periods, and user controls so that privacy policy text, App Store disclosures and Google Play Data Safety forms remain consistent.
